Wound update!!!

This is after new cut and color!!!

My client Kellie W called me one day to see if I could help her friend that she works with...this friend named Shelli had been "stuck" in a style rut for 20 years...needless to say it was time for a change...once we had her "into" the idea of change, she called me and made an appointment. Well she came into the salon and it was great, she brought some pictures with her for me to get an idea of where she wanted to go...this is always a great idea...it gives me a window into the clients mind....I started with a color change and decided to go a little bit longer than the picture that she had showed me just because iI thought that if I went that short she would be in shock...this happens sometimes. I then rinsed the color and began to cut her hair in a style that was fun, up-to-date, and easy for her to style. I looked and she was crying, I was like what is wrong...she said it is just so pretty....I think that she thought I was scalping her at first but then I showed her that I left all of her length but just layered it and gave her some style...she loved it ...still crying she gave me hug and said she LOVED it...she then sent me some pictures of her old style and her new style...Amazing transformation!

Great day...

Yesterday was a great day, although I had to work a little bit...it was still a very good day. I went shopping and met with tons of friends, but the best part was that I ate what I wanted to yesterday including cake and cake and more cake...mmmm. It was good! I just don't want to see how that one day impacts the diet plan...I am back on the plan today !! I met with tons of friends and recieved alot of beautiful things...thank you sooo much for making my day special!! I love my birthday...oh I already said that. Love ~L

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is the day of my birth....I always love my birthday, not sure why but I do. So today will be a good day. It is beautiful outside, clear and not humid...great hair day...bonus!
On a serious note.....Andrea was apparently car-jacked yesterday.... some masked man, armed with a fork ran and jumped into her car, while she was at the gas station, he violently took a bite out of the front of my cake. All she could do was stand there in disbelief and the attacker ran away before help could arrive...this was her story...so funny. It is so fine with me, she went out of her way to get me a cake...which is exactly my favorite kind. I love all my gifts Penny, they are perfect. That candle smells so good!
On my Leg issue...it is amazing I can so tell that someone is seriously praying for me, I have had some serious skin growth in the past week or so...It is obviously smaller...so excited about that! Thank you all so much for praying for my healing...I will add a picture or some video later.I just got burnt out on that. But now that I have some progress....I want to share that with y'all. Thank you for all of Birthday wishes. It is going to be an amazing day!...I love you....~Lisa

I needed to update...

I have been super busy lately and I have been enjoying the beautiful weather. Yesterday I went out with Aner and we shot the beautiful Traci in the West End of Dallas...that place brought back alot of memories. When I was married, my husband and I would go down there and dance and go to the arcades, we spent alot of weekends down there. It is kind of sad to see the main building where all the shopping used to be all closed up. It is amazing how things change. I had alot of fun walking through "memory lane" yesterday, but it was more fun shooting Traci, she was an amazing model...she moved and twirled on her on and we didn't have to ask her to do much but "stop right there"! It really was fun and I shot the entire thing in manual mode. Technical photoggy stuff, but way more difficult than it seems. I am sure it will become easier as time goes on. Tonight is my last homegroup dinner with Kristen as our leader, she is getting married soon. I have to say I will miss these girls. I have been there exactly 1 year and I feel I have grown in that group. I think I am going to go to Andreas in a little while as she is without a vehicle and homebound...There...that is my update...oh and my leg...it is getting a little better day by day. I am hoping to be back on my negative pressure therapy soon!! Love yall ~Lisa
